A major component of TEPHI’s activities will be addressing the day-to-day practicalities of pandemic preparation and management. This scope of work includes TEPHI partnering with businesses and professional organizations, like those in the essential services and food supply chains, to prevent disruptions, plan for business continuity, and protect the safety and well-being of employees. The candidate is expected to lead a thematic program of externally funded research. The candidate is also expected to teach graduate courses, engage in student recruitment, advising and retention activities, as well as service. The home department will depend on the interests and expertise of the applicant and fit with a department’s ongoing initiatives.
