PFANS is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to strengthen the CBORD Food Service Suite and provide essential support for the Meals on Wheels program. This position is vital to ensuring timely service for Meals on Wheels clients and accurate, efficient menu management for patients and unit-order customers, all of which supports excellence in patient nutrition and food service operations.
Application & System Management
Administer, monitor, and optimize the CBORD Food Service Suite
Support and continuously improve the CBORD Food Service Suite, encompassing purchasing, inventory management, issuing, production scheduling, and general item maintenance.
Implement system updates, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with IT support for escalations.
New Item/Recipe Management
Program and update new items and recipes in the CBORD system, ensuring accuracy and alignment with menu standards and nutrition requirements.
Data Reporting & Analysis
Generate scheduled and ad-hoc reports for resource planning, compliance, and management decision-making.
Analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Meals on Wheels (MOW) Services Reporting & Menu Management
Generate and manage critical reports necessary for the administration of the MOW program.
Prepare and review Meal Cost Reports, ensuring effective budget management and resource allocation for maximum community benefit.
Maintain, update, and distribute the MOW 4-week menu, ensuring each meal meets strict nutritional guidelines and service requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest standards of care, compliance, and responsiveness in MOW operations.
Production Forecasting & Scheduling
Establish, review, and adjust forecasted meal quantities for Food Production.
Recommend adjustments to production and menu planning based on historical data and changing service demands.
Manage the production schedule to optimize resource use and minimize waste.
CBORD Issuing & Unit Order Administration
Create and update Issue Requisition Templates for billable and non-billable unit orders within CBORD.
Set up new units, assign IDs/passwords for billable Unit Orders customers, and maintain related templates when needed.
Training, Documentation & Communication
Develop, update, and disseminate technical documentation, training materials, and workflow guides for end users.
Provide onboarding, ongoing training, and support to departmental users; serve as backup for PFANS Systems Team to ensure business continuity.
Effectively communicate program updates, compliance requirements, and new system features to staff and leadership.
Ensure that documentation, menu information, coding lists, and support resources are current and accessible.
Inventory Maintenance
Maintain inventory locations in CBORD
Distribute inventory sheets as required.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, nutrition, dietetics, food service management, or related fields granted by an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience using CBORD Food Service Management and Nutrition Services Suite application.
Experience in healthcare, senior services, or large-scale food service operations.
Strong knowledge of food service workflows, menu management, production forecasting, or inventory control processes.
Experience supporting software implementations, system integrations, or configuration projects.
Proficiency with data analysis tools.
Demonstrated ability to write and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
Proven ability to translate operational needs into system requirements and process improvements.
Strong communication skills with experience collaborating across clinical, administrative, and operational teams.
40hours

7:00am-3:30pm
This position may be filled using an FLSA exempt or non-exempt designation.
