Department: MED-Center for Food Allergy & Asthma Salary/Grade: EXS/8
Job Summary:
Partners with clients to design, develop, implement and maintain business solutions regarding data management and analysis. This includes database administration, data consolidation, data analysis and management reporting. Utilizes software to generate metrics and develops actionable recommendations. Collaborates with various function teams such as marketing, research, and IT to achieve business results.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative research team within a dynamic research environment. This position will support the Center for Food Allergy & Asthma Research (CFAAR), directed by Dr. Ruchi Gupta. CFAAR is home to a variety of research projects including large scale NIH funded studies focused on prevention of food allergy in the primary care setting (iREACH) as well as understanding the root causes of racial differences in food allergy prevalence and outcomes (FORWARD). The center is home to a large, dynamic research portfolio that also includes strong research partnerships with leading global food allergy researchers and other stakeholders—including government and non-for profit institutions—to implement and evaluate emerging allergy and asthma treatment and prevention approaches with an eye toward policy impact. Finally, the center is also involved in exciting pilot projects and initiatives that include work with Chicago Public Schools, Lurie Children’s Hospital, and numerous Northwestern researchers and Chicago area community organizations. This position will have the opportunity to collaborate on any number of these initiatives as experience and interest allows.

Specific Responsibilities:
Administration
Reviews reports before presentation to ensure quality and accuracy.
Develops and maintains documentation of process for quality assurance and reporting methodology
Development
Interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex statistical analysis.
Determines data structure for local datasets.
Performance
Develops and documents standards for data quality and regulatory compliance pertaining to reporting.
Ensures quality and compliance by reviewing reports
Miscellaneous
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
4 years data analysis/report writing or similar experience required.

2 years Stata/R programming/coding experience, applied experience in multivariable statistical modeling, 1 year applied experience in ArcGIS or other mapping software
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Biostatistics, Applied Statistics, Math, Epidemiology, or related field.
