Position Summary: The successful candidate will be expected to develop a robust research portfolio in meat safety and/or meat microbiology, as well as teach undergraduate and/or graduate level courses and mentor graduate students in the Department of Animal Sciences. Involvement with departmental activities is expected and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team setting is required. The successful applicant will have access to resources within the College of Agricultural Sciences, Department of Animal Sciences, and the JBS Global Food Innovation Center in Honor of Gary & Kay Smith.
