Description: The employee will take a leading role in constructing an integrated social-economic-environmental impact modeling framework that will provide linkages and interactions within a regional food system involving fruit and vegetable producers, consumers, supply chain system, socio-economic models, and environmental impact (water, soil, climate) models using multi-agent simulation methods to estimate and project cost, benefit, and other effects triggered by system shocks.The employee will have already acquired a Ph.D. or equivalent acceptable degree and should be able to exercise scientific judgment on a day-to-day basis.
