Scope of PositionThe Supply Chain Department is responsible for the order, receipt, storage, and distribution of Medical Center supplies, linens, and portable equipment throughout the Medical Center. The department has the responsibility for overseeing the operation of the Automated Guided Vehicle System, which moves all supplies, food, and trash within the Medical Center. The department is also responsible for maintaining Inventory Management Systems throughout the Medical Center. Supply Chain is responsible for triage and reprocessing of portable equipment. The department coordinates Specialty Bed placements and charge capture for beds and equipment. The department enforces lean materials management practices throughout the Medical Center.Position Summary
