Scope:

We are looking for a Business Sales Development Manager, based in the Tristate area (NY, New Jersey, Connecticut) responsible for the East Coast, to expand the network of contacts and to attract new clients, and maintain/strengthen relationships with existing clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
• Addressing the company’s products/services to clients.
• Operates as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to the clients.
• Builds and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.
• Oversees new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities.
• Monitors product distribution and consumer reactions.
• New and existing client micromanagement (warehouse visits, opening accounts etc).
• To get familiar with the company’s ordering, inventory and financial systems.
• Reporting to the US General Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or marketing.
• 5+ years of experience working in a similar position.
• Experience in the food segment (fast-moving consumers goods) in both channels (Retail and Food Services) and mainly Retail.
• Negotiation and presentation skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of Market trends.
• Analytical skills, be able to work well with numbers (pricing).
• Provide monthly reporting.
• Knowledge of Greek language will be considered as an asset.
