Extension Meat Specialist - Live Animal/Meats Interface
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This person will work to implement adult and youth education in livestock production, meat science, food safety, meat evaluation, meat in the diet, and meat quality. The successful candidate will work closely with the current Extension Meat, Beef Cattle, Livestock, and 4-H Specialists to develop, implement, and evaluate programs. There is an expected close interface between this position, the established research programs, and other sources of information that have applications to issues facing the meat industry and the resident meat sciences program.
