Position Description: The University of Wisconsin-Madison has a research assistant opening for an individual interested in pursuing a Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy in Animal & Dairy Science (Meat Science focus). This student will support a currently USDA funded research project and work with a team of academia and meat industry experts to address current hurdles and challenges regarding thermal processing food safety and more specifically address Scientific Gaps recently identified into USDA, FSIS Appendix A (2021 version).
