Under limited direction, oversees and facilitates the planning, preparation, and development of environmental analyses, studies, and reports to ensure the Agency is compliant with state and federal environmental requirements. This classification will be responsible for complex staff assignments connected with preparation, review, analysis and presentation of environmental studies and impact assessments for housing and community development projects in compliance with state and federal regulations, including, but not limited to, the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) environmental review requirements at 24 CFR Part 58, and brownfield analysis and remediation.
