Department: MED-Center for Food Allergy & Asthma Research Salary/Grade: EXS/6
Job Summary:
Led by Dr. Ruchi Gupta, the Center for Food Allergy and Asthma Research (CFAAR), part of the Institute for Public Health and Medicine (IPHAM) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, aims to find answers and shape policies surrounding food allergy, asthma and other allergic conditions.
We are seeking to hire an experienced research data analyst associate to serve as a REDCap specialist supporting all CFAAR projects that utilize REDCap. We’re looking for someone who has significant experience in REDCap including experience using direct data entry, survey capabilities, designer, skip logic, and survey queue logic; experience creating and guiding the creation of REDCap forms; experience using REDCap to generate custom reports; experience supporting PIs with REDCap data exports to SAS, SPSS, R, and Stata; as well as clinical research experience. The candidate should also have some experience with basic data analysis. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and can lead effectively across multiple levels within our organization.
Utilizes multiple quantitative and qualitative datasets from a variety of sources and interprets results using various techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining. Assists in the design, development and implementation of business solutions partnering with clients to identify analytical requirements. Compiles reports, charts, and tables based on established statistical methods.
Specific Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
Partners with clients to define requirements based on business objectives.
Administration
Develop standardized templates, policies, and procedures for internal and external reporting.
Designs and prepares documentation for qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
Development
Completes a variety of statistical analyses using appropriate data and software
Merges data from multiple sources in preparation for analysis.
Interprets results of analyses for use in reports and presentations4.
Miscellaneous
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.

High proficiency with REDCap
Experience using REDCap’s direct data entry, survey capabilities, designer, skip logic, and survey queue logic.

Experience supporting investigators with REDCap data exports to SAS, SPSS, R and Stata.
Must have experience working on larger observational studies or randomized clinical trials utilizing REDCap for data capture and entry.
Must be capable of communicating effectively with developers regarding our data capture needs in REDCap
