The Production Suite Coordinator is a key support role in the Creation & Application organization supporting sample production for clinical studies as well as customer and internal innovation projects. The production suite is a GMP facility in the Madison Innovation Center used to produce various dietary supplement products at a pilot scale (including bulk powders, capsules, stick packs, etc.). This role would manage the regular production logistics including raw material procurement, scheduling, documentation, coordinating movement of goods across multiple departments, and communicating directly with key stakeholders to prioritize and provide timely updates.
The position is based in Madison, WI, with flexible daytime hours Monday to Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To succeed in this position, the candidate should be able to perform the following tasks, including but not limited to:
Maintain master data for production suite including raw material inventories
Leads planning, coordination, and scheduling of weekly production in suite
Coordinate with supply chain and sourcing to acquire raw materials for production schedule
Prepare batch records including defining recipes and work instructions
Drive the various handoffs of physical samples and documentation between departments (including supply chain, QA, QC, shipping) to ensure samples are supplied to requestor in a timely manner
Execute Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standard operating procedures (SOP) for clinical study samples
Maintain equipment SOP documents and preventative maintenance activities

Degree in science, operations management, supply chain management, or equivalent
4+ years experience in a lab or production environment supporting operations, supply chain, logistics, or analytical services
Strong understanding of SAP ERP and related applications in managing material flow
Requires the ability to manage expectations in an international environment with geographically dispersed stakeholders from various functions
Excellent organization skills and great attention to detail
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Able to effectively handle multiple workstreams from multiple stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Hands on and comfortable working in a small scale GMP production environment

Preferred Experience
Previous experience with probiotic powders
Hands-on experience with processes to produce capsules, stick packs, sachets, tablets, and/or other supplement formats.
Previous experience managing investigational product (IP) for clinical studies
