This position provides a wide range of support and management in administrative, financial, and technical tasks. Primary to this position is coordinating, maintaining, and implementing the Food Services Point of Sale (POS) system from an accounting, customer service, and internal training perspective. This position will be working closely with the department Training Manager and Computer User Support Analyst. Also integral is revenue processing and recordkeeping, as well as maintaining and establishing general department revenue operations. This position is a liaison with other OHSU departments on behalf of Food & Nutrition revenue sources and interacts with all levels of Hospital and University management. This position is also a resource to information regarding HR, Payroll, and employee services.
Four years of general office or secretarial experience; OR
An Associates degree or certificate in office occupations or office technology and two years of general office experience; OR
An equivalent combination of training and experience.
Four years of general office or secretarial experience.
Windows operating system(XP, Vista)MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
1 year of oracle experience.
Demonstrated Telephone Skills.
Must be able to problem solve independently.
Must have experience in cash counting/business banking.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with otr without accommodation.
Associate degree in office Occupations or Office Technology; OR
5+ combined years of experience.
1+ year(s) of HR experience, oracle experience, and knowledge of the MICROS system in a hospital/food service setting.
Spreadsheets for generating reports and analysis.
Outstanding telephone skills.
1+ year of Oracle experience.
Ability to prioritize projects and support multiple department functions simultaneously.
Micros system experience.
Office/floor location Working at desk/computer station 70% of time. Other conditions to vary on project assigned.Sitting, standing, walking, throughout the day. Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
