You have... - 5+ years of demonstrated experience reviewing labels and providing guidance to food companies on regulatory requirements. Must have comprehensive knowledge of and demonstrated application of FDA regulations and other laws pertaining to the manufacture, labeling and marketing of food.
- Strong experience with product claim substantiation analysis for labels, advertising and other promotional materials.
- Strong experience in food science and technical expertise in ingredients and good manufacturing. Manufacturing, quality, or operations experience a plus.
- A Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Science or related field. Advanced degree is preferred.
- Internal FDA or other similar regulating agency experience is a plus. Demonstrated professional network at FDA, other regulatory agencies, and with food science, regulatory and health and nutrition experts is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead others through influencing.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization and within different pieces of a complex supply chain.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Skills in organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
