Position Title: Manager II Supply Chain Contracts Position Location: Quincy, MA
Main Assignments: • Take lead on 3rd Party contract creation, and provide a broad scope of knowledge and experience in the areas of: Supplier agreements, Supply Chain operational processes, Merchandising strategies, and overall Supplier network capabilities and constraints • This role will be critical in the negotiation and establishment of all associated contracts with our 3rd party suppliers in support of the 3rd party lead. • They will be responsible for all aspects of third-party contract enforcement and creation; this includes serving as the secondary conduit to the Lead of 3rd Party Contract Negotiations and Management and Legal in terms of contractual formulation and justification. • Role will be expected to provide Supply Chain, Category expertise, Store Operational knowledge, analysis to make decisions regarding agreement language, length, cost, terms and charges, they must possess a strong merchandising and supply chain knowledge base. • This role will be expected to collaborate throughout the organization to ensure that we produce results that drive and support the overall strategy of the AD Supply Chain through our supplier agreements.
Main Accountabilities: • Provide leadership and governance required to support and execute all Third-Party related initiatives. • Participation in all aspects of negotiation, administration, and management of our 3rd Party Supplier Agreements. • Process extensive contractual knowledge required to perform in-depth analysis, both ongoing and on-demand to hold Suppliers accountable and justify enforcement of any third-party contractual penalties. • Leverage internal, external and personal knowledge, along with extensive statistical data to establish Supplier performances KPIs and benchmarking methodologies. Monitor and report performance KPIs, perform analysis, and create period reporting associated with Supplier and program performance. • Ensure execution through the establishment of programs that accurately measure performance and require accountability. Provide executive updates inclusive of performance status, Supplier accountability plans and action plans to ensure achievement of for both internal and external parties. • Serve as a key point of contact for our Divisional Operators, Category Managers and Merchandisers regarding our 3rd Party Supply agreements. • Provide direction to the AD Brands on activities associated with credit policies, delivery schedules, quality requirements, up charges, etc. as per contracts and agreements with 3rd party suppliers. • Deliver fact based statistical analysis and recommendations to support the Third-Party Contract Lead, this will include meeting with Senior Executives when necessary of suppliers and the brands.
Basic Qualifications: College Degree 5 years' experience in negotiating and contract management Preferred Qualifications: Previous para-legal experience would be preferred
