The Coordinator for the Technology department provides planning and administrative support for the overall department and reports directly to the CTO. This position is relied on for assistance and support on a wide variety of department issues and provides administrative support to the CTO, Cybersecurity, Spectrum Planning groups, and the Certification team as needed.
Will also plan events for the technology department including, but not limited to Regional CTO, Cybersercurity working group, and Certification meetings.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Assist in the smooth and efficient flow of the department. This includes scheduling meetings and conference calls for the CTO and for Vice Presidents, travel planning, processing expense reports and invoices, meeting preparations and correspondence, processing contract requests, and other administrative support as needed.
Support the CTO in the planning and execution of Technology leadership calls, meetings, and events. Plan and manage events for the Technology department including Regional CTO meetings and assist in other events including Cybersecurity, Spectrum, Connected Life/UAS events. Support the functions of the CTIA Cybersecurity Working Group (CSWG) and assist in the planning and execution of the group’s events and work program.
Support the CTIA Device Certification team as needed. Plan and manage the PTCRB meetings. Manage contract, hotel or venue, food/beverage, and on-site support.
Other Clerical & Administrative Support:
Assist with phones and scheduling.
Coordinate with vendors for supplies and services, including office supplies, stationery, shipping, teleconference services and publication subscriptions.
Plan team meetings and events
Assign numbers to CPWG contributions, upload to website and notify working groups.
Assist with scheduling, information distribution, requests and meetings with CTIA members.
Handle routine calls and inquiries from media members, academics, analysts, research firms, etc.
Collect and distribute information among appropriate CTIA staff and Working Group members.
Coordinate with legal department to create and update consulting services agreements.

Competent in Microsoft Office (MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint)
Education and/or experience:
Four-year college degree required. Two years of prior office experience.
Detail-oriented with good grammar and punctuation. Proficiency in proofreading skills and strong communications skills are required.
